Introduction
Rand Farm Park offers a high quality “hands on” fun
and learning experience for all ages and abilities:

Our staff are friendly, welcoming, highly trained and motivated and ensure that each visitor is treated as someone special to go home with memories to treasure for many years to come.

Pre-Arrival
- A clearly worded leaflet is available describing
the main facilities, attractions, directions, opening
times and prices. The leaflet includes our contact
numbers, email and web site addresses. The leaflet
is widely distributed to other tourist venues,
hotels, guest houses, caravan parks and Tourist
Information Centres.
- Special leaflets are also produced
covering:

- Christmas
- Special Events
- The Park is accessible by car.
We are located on the main Lincoln/Skegness road
A158 approximately 8 miles east of Lincoln close
to the village of Wragby. The Park is clearly signed
with brown tourist signs.
- For satellite navigation systems
our post code is LN8 5NJ
- The Park is also accessible
by bus. Stagecoach number 6 Lincoln/Skegness. Service
is hourly. The bus stop is located a short walk
away, approximately 5 minutes walk.
- The nearest railway station
is in Lincoln with the bus station located within
approximately 5 minutes walk.
- Accessible Taxi services
are located in Lincoln (8
miles), Market Rasen
(8 miles) and
Horncastle (12
miles).

Arrival and Car Parking Facilities
- Car Parking is free. The admission
charges for the Park are as follows:
- Adults and
Children aged 2 or over £
6.50per person per day.
- Senior Citizens £4.95
- Children aged under 2 FREE
of charge.
- Specials Needs Children, Adults and Carers (on
a basis of 1 to 1) £4.95 each.
- Special rates are
available for Groups of 20 or more. Please
enquire prior to arrival. * Special rates
are only available if pre booked.
- Wristbands
are issued to all visitors and MUST be
worn at all times.
- There is no admission charge
for using our:
- Gift Shop
- Farm Shop
- Tea Room
- Coffee
Baa
- The main car park has facilities
for approximately 150 cars on gravel plus a further
6 designated disabled spaces on tarmac. The main
car park is lit.
- An overflow
car is used during peak times and has spaces
for a further 500 or so cars.
- Vehicles can be
parked to allow rear access and there are no
dropped kerbs.
- Access to
the main entrance is on tarmac (from
the designated disabled parking area)
and from all other areas on tarmac or gravel.
- Large
directional signs are located within the car
parking areas.

Main Entrance and Reception
- The
Park is open every day except Christmas Day,
Boxing Day and New Year’s
Day.
- The opening hours for the Park
are:
- Summer
(March 1st to
October 31st) 10.00 am to 6.00pm.
- Winter
(1st November
to February 28th) 10.00am to
4.00pm.
- There
are no steps and access is by double doors allowing
easy wheelchair access.

Public Areas - General
- All internal areas are located on the ground
floor with no steps to negotiate allowing easy
wheelchair access.
- Access to all areas is by concrete/tarmac
paths with wide aisles.
- Tarmac paths lead into the
Adventure Playground and Go Kart areas and then
onto mown grass.
- Seating is available in our:
- Tearoom
- Coffee Baa
- Family Play Barn
- Pods and Sandpit
- Numerous benches and picnic benches
are available through the site.

Public Areas - WC
- There are three WC areas:
- Two in the Tearoom
- One in the Coffee Baa
- There are three disabled toilets
(one located in each
area). The toilet in the Coffee
Baa is a full wet room (with
shower facilities if required).
- Baby changing facilities are located within
all the disabled toilets and in the gents in the
original part of the tearoom.
- Hand-washing facilities
are located in all toilets, in the shop outside
the tearoom and in the dairy.
- Hand sanitisers are located
in the following places:
- Small Creatures House
- Rabbit Handling Area
- Hatchery
- Gift Shop
- Farm Shop

Tearoom and Coffee Baa
- The eating areas are located centrally on the
site. There are no steps to negotiate to either
area.
- The
furniture is all moveable and is of sturdy pine
or metal and wood construction.
- Food in the Tearoom is
ordered at the counter and brought to the table.
- Food
in the Coffee Baa is more of a cafeteria style.
- High
chairs are available in the Tearoom and Coffee
Baa.
- There are
separate picnic areas with ample seating both outdoor
and indoor (subject
to some restrictions at busy times).
- We
are able to cater for visitors with special dietary
requirements:
- Vegetarian
- Vegans
- Gluten free
- Dairy intolerance
- Nut allergy
- Diabetics
* Please ensure
we are aware of any special dietry requirements
BEFORE you order your food.

Shops
Gift Shop
- See Main Entrance and Reception above.
- All items are
clearly priced; many items are at low level,
we are happy to provide assistance if required.
Farm Shop
- Access is via the Family Play Barn or direct
from the Car Park. There is a special Farm
Shop parking area on tarmac with two designated
disabled parking bays.
- The farm shop is easily accessible by wheelchairs
with wide aisles.
- All items are clearly priced;
many items are at low level, we are happy to
provide assistance if required.

Outdoor Facilities
- Adventure
Playground, Children’s Play Houses
and Pedal Go Karts and/or Pedal Rockers.
- All play equipment
has safety surfacing where required and is
maintained to the current European Standard.
- Access is by a
level tarmac path on to level mown grass.

Indoor Play Facilities
- All areas have easy access on concrete paths,
wide doorways and aisles.
- Some elements within the Playbarn
are on the ground floor and are accessible by wheel
chairs. Other elements on the 1st and 2nd floors
are more challenging and require climbing, etc.
- Some
elements within the Play Pod area are easily accessible
others are more challenging and require climbing
through tubes, etc.
- All facilities and games within
the school room have easy access.

Conference and Meeting Rooms, Banqueting, Clubs, and Entertainment
- Are these facilities are available.

Attractions - Displays, Exhibits,
Rides.
- All our animals are under cover with easy access,
wide doors and wide aisles.
- All signage is large format – black
or red on white.
- We have daily milking demonstrations
again with easy access. Viewing may be limited
at busy times.
- Bottle feeding of lambs and/or
calves is fully accessible and takes place daily
at:
- Tractor and Trailer rides are available every
day. Please see electronic sign board located within
the main entrance for times.
- There is wheelchair access
onto the trailer with a wheelchair lift.

Additional Information
- There is no smoking within any of the buildings
or on the farm.
- We regret we only allow guide
dogs into the Park.
- A kennel is available if required. There
is no charge for this facility.
- First Aid facilities
are located at the Admissions Desk in the Main
Entrance or by contacting any member of staff.
Trained General and Paediatric First Aider's are
always on site.
- Wheelchairs can be borrowed
from the Admissions Desk. *
